Every year I’m surprised by the immense variety of activities Houston has to offer during the holiday seasons, and by the many that I have yet to discover. Despite being a faithful follower of each and every one of the Houston Museum of Fine Arts' exhibits, I had never visited the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, a River Oaks mansion that was transformed into a museum in the 1960s.
